If still under warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge. - Surge Protector attenuates EMI/RFI line noise that can cause data errors and keyboard lockups, ensuring better performance of protected equipment. - To prevent damage to your equipment from power surges and spikes. - 120kA SurgeArrest models contain EMI/RFI filtering to reduce line noise that can cause data loss and keyboard errors. 40kA and 80kA units do not contain noise filtering components, so they can be used with powerline networking systems (X10, HomePlug, PLC, etc.). - 40kA, 80kA and 120kA per phase maximum surge current ratings, for all your residential, commercial and individual equipment protection needs. SurgeArrest Panelmount SPDs are equipped with fuses and thermal disconnects that react quickly to protect against dangerous high and low current wiring faults as well as other catastrophic surge events. These panelmount SPDs are passive, and continue to allow power through to your home or building if any of the surge components are damaged. - LED status indicators for each phase and an audible alarm provide immediate failure notification when suppression circuitry has been damaged by a heavy strike or surge. - For easy installation inside your circuit breaker panel (40kA model) or next to your power distribution panels. (80kA and 120 kA models) - Allows for mounting of the PM2X units rigidly to the side of your panelboard.
