2x1 Mini HDMI Switch with Optional Power Input When all you need is a simple switch to choose between two input source devices, you will be hard pressed to find a better solution than the Monoprice 2x1 Mini HDMI® Switch! This small switch automatically switches between two input devices, depending upon which one is turned on. It is powered by the HDMI source, so no external power supply is required (though one can optionally be used if one of the devices has a weak signal output strength). The switch handles High Speed (1080p) signals with High Definition audio and 12-bit per channel Color Depth. A manual switching option is available via a button on the top of the unit, in case you don't want to turn off the unused source or your source continues to power the HDMI cable when in standby mode.
