Use your giant new HDTV as a computer monitor with this DVI + Audio to HDMI® converter! Many newer computers have HDMI output, but if you have an older computer with just DVI, you can easily convert the DVI video, plus the stereo audio, outputs into an HDMI signal that can be displayed on your large-screen HDMI TV. This simple box requires no special software. Just hook the DVI output from the computer into the converter's input (DVI-I digital only), add an audio from the sound card output into the R/L RCA input jacks, then connect the HDMI output from the converter into your TV. The converter supports video resolutions up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) and has a video amplifier bandwidth of 225 MHz/2.25 Gbps per channel (6.75 Gbps total). It produces 2-channel, uncompressed LPCM digital audio from the 2-channel analog input. The required 5 VDC power adapter is included.
