Description Our Suspension Boom Scissor Stand is made of steel and provides a sturdy platform to hold microphones in place for podcasting, broadcasting, recording, or streaming. The arm is strong enough to support up to 2 lbs. of weight and features a rugged construction that prevents the transfer of vibrations to the microphone, causing audio noise. The microphone arm is designed to provide as much flexibility as possible. The metal C-clamp is large enough to fit onto surfaces up to 1.9" thick and the pressure can be adjusted quickly and easily using the metal spindle. The clamp is padded to prevent damage to the surface it's attached to. The arm can extend up to 33". At the end of the mic arm is a nut with 3/8"x16 threading.
