It can de‑embed digital stereo audio and convert it to analog stereo audio for use with an external amplifier, receiver, or powered speakers. It also supports the Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature, which allows you to use audio that originates on the connected display, such as when using an app on a Smart TV.
