With SATA to eSATA cables from Cables To Go you now have the newer eSATA connector (external SATA, "I" type) on one end and the SATA I Type A connector ("L type) on the other. Use this cable to connect eSATA devices to SATA controllers with the Type A connector, or eSATA controllers to SATA drive enclosures with the Type A connector. This cable meets SATA I and SATA II specifications.
